Honor and Dignity
Honor and Dignity
These two words are profoundly important for the life of any human being, and yet they are being forgotten. In this modern society of social media, deep fakes, pretension, false idols, and the endless craving for validation, we are losing our sense of self-respect. Through this decay, we witness a catastrophic lack of character in men and women to say “NO,” and the inability to use that word is sinking lives and souls into mental and economic poverty. In my lifetime, from 1980 until this year 2026, I have seen the normalization of things that for millennia were rightfully considered shameful. The last two generations are openly celebrating actions that, even centuries before Christ, were recognized as evil. Technology should be a powerful source of knowledge, wisdom, and education, but humanity has weaponized it to produce the most vile, vulgar, and senseless content, broadcasting it across the globe until stupidity itself becomes viral. We see young souls selling their bodies online, the adoration of animals above humans, and profound degeneration—from pornography to platforms like OnlyFans—not only being consumed but becoming a normalized social standard. We see people performing the most foolish dance moves on social media, individuals boasting of rampant promiscuity, and the pushing of gender ideology onto preschool children. This includes grown men, older than fifty, dressing in absurd costumes like unicorns or the Little Mermaid, parading half-naked before children, and the hijacking of the rainbow. This is completely unacceptable, as the rainbow is the sacred symbol of the promise God made to Noah to never completely erase humanity as He did after the flood. We even witness people in power and celebrities abusing children and committing atrocities without being punished. To correct this dark trajectory, we must refuse to comply, actively shield our families from these corrupting influences, and reinstate absolute moral boundaries in our homes.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
— Isaiah 5:20
“To be everywhere is to be nowhere. When vice becomes a social norm, the masses confuse their sickness for health.”
— Seneca
“Deindividuation and social contagion in hyper-connected networks bypass the brain’s prefrontal cortex, significantly reducing individual moral accountability and normalizing previously taboo behaviors.”
— Dr. Philip Zimbardo (Psychologist)
The words “Honor” and “Dignity” must stand firmly next to the word “NO.” That means a resolute no to drugs, alcohol abuse, moral degeneration, promiscuity, murder, the destruction of the natural family, abortion, violence, rape, and lies and “NO” to all that which is not natural in this world. The tragedy of our time is that men and women have exchanged character, hard work, and honesty for cheap charisma, pretentiousness, and deceit. I do not know how far this blog will reach, but I know not all humans are lost. If those with their minds and hearts in the right place read this article, there is still profound hope. As it has been wisely said, “There are two types of pain in life: the pain of discipline, and the pain of regret.” If we relate this truth to the state of our world, the ultimate guide for our lives becomes crystal clear: WE SHALL NEVER EXCHANGE HONOR AND DIGNITY FOR VALIDATION. To overcome the pressure of modern culture, you must embrace the temporary pain of discipline, stand unapologetically for the truth, and refuse to compromise your soul for the applause of a lost crowd.
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.”
— Titus 2:11-12
“If you are ever tempted to look for outside approval, realize that you have compromised your integrity. If you need a witness, be your own.”
— Epictetus
“The human brain’s dopamine reward system is easily hijacked by the cheap validation of digital platforms, biologically wiring individuals to prioritize peer approval over long-term, principle-based goals.”
— Dr. Anna Lembke (Neuroscientist and Psychiatrist)
I would like to remind those who know God that there are absolute laws that transcend time and space, created by God not only to regulate humanity but to show us clearly what is good and what is evil. Virtues—being kind, good, protective, providing, responsible, productive, disciplined, punctual, respectful, precise, correct, and trustworthy—just like the vices of being evil, degenerated, violent, greedy, and destructive, are forces that will travel through the entirety of the existence of the life and universe we know. And the undeniable news is: NOBODY CAN CHANGE IT! For those who have not studied science and mathematics, understand that God’s design is physically observable. Biology confirms what the Bible teaches: we all have an expiration date, ensuring that death will visit every man and woman with no exception. Science shows us that mitochondria are fundamentally tied to human aging and inevitable mortality through strict biological mechanisms: the production of free radicals (ROS), mutational accumulation, cellular senescence, and apoptosis (programmed cell death). When scientific tools, mathematics, or observational limits hit a wall where they cannot explain a phenomenon (such as the exact origin of consciousness, the initial trigger of the Big Bang, or complex gaps in early evolutionary mechanics), historically some thinkers and scientists have attributed those gaps to direct divine action—essentially saying, “Here science ends, and the hand of God takes over.”
Looking at the existence of good and evil, and observing the staggering precision of the universe, it is clear that only an ignorant mind could dare to say it was not intelligently designed. With this design, the power of free will was given to humans to define which side we stand on. This temporal limitation is not bound to time and space, but is God’s measure to see our true nature, guaranteeing that good souls return to Him and that evil souls do not live to inflict damage forever. There is no modern culture, passing trend, or shifting era that can ever change this. To deal with the fear of mortality and the pain of life, we must use our limited time strictly to build a legacy of righteousness.
“And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.”
— Hebrews 9:27
“Stop whatever you’re doing for a moment and ask yourself: Am I afraid of death because I won’t be able to do this anymore?”
— Marcus Aurelius
“Mitochondrial dysfunction and the subsequent triggering of apoptosis demonstrate that a cellular expiration date is hardwired into human biology, serving as the ultimate thermodynamic limit on human longevity.”
— Dr. Douglas Wallace (Geneticist and Evolutionary Biologist)
With all of the above established, I want to remind us that honor and dignity are the defining characteristics of the responsible and correct man or woman. They are the traits of those who know how to say “NO” to what is evil, with absolute determination and zero hesitation. It is our supreme duty as conscious beings to relentlessly seek the truth, to uphold what is good and valuable, and to step firmly away from what is evil, destructive, and a lie. Tolerating darkness and giving space to bad decisions will not only cost us our physical lives and the safety of our families, but it can ultimately cost us our eternal souls. Draw the line today, reclaim your dignity, and walk with the honor that God intended for you.
“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?”
— Matthew 16:26
“It is not living that matters, but living rightly.”
— Socrates
“Executive function and self-regulation are the primary biological mechanisms that allow humans to override destructive impulses, proving that moral boundaries are essential for psychological and societal survival.”
— Dr. Roy Baumeister (Social Psychologist)
