Prosperity
Prosperity and the New Age Comfort Driven Communities
This article must start with strict logic. Therefore, here are three things I personally always say and have found in science, history, and economics that are key to understanding this message:
- The harvest only responds to the seed.
- Responsibility derives from consciousness, and consciousness triggers disciplined behavior.
- The responsible man or woman adopts discipline, hard work, and rigorous process.
“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.”
— Galatians 6:7
“First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do.”
— Epictetus
“The third law of motion dictates that for every action in nature, there is an equal and opposite reaction, proving that output is strictly bound to input.”
— Isaac Newton (Physicist and Mathematician)
In these times, society and humanity seem completely lost when it comes to understanding true prosperity, well-being, or wealth. God commands us, “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” But that does not mean things will come to us merely because we desire them. The Bible, history, science, economics, and mathematics are very clear in showing that for every action, there is a reaction. Therefore, prosperity will not come to us just because we attempt to “Manifest” it, sit in a mystical posture burning incense, or believe that simply thinking about something will make it materialize due to a wrong concept of the law of attraction. True prosperity is the consequence of discipline, knowledge, wisdom, responsibility, and hard work applied in real-time conditions, in the real world, with zero excuses. We must also be fiercely aware of the false prosperity of those who take advantage of the vulnerable—those who feel lonely, sick, or desperate for guidance, and who fall for the false promises offered by the representatives of these New Age, comfort-driven communities with absolutely no basis in reality. When confronting these deceptions, the way to overcome them is by rejecting false shortcuts and grounding yourself in truth. The moment you accept responsibility, discipline, and hard work, you will see things materialize, just as God designed it for men and women. We must never forget His word, which may sound harsh to the modern ear, yet is perfectly logical: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.”
“For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.”
— 2 Thessalonians 3:10
“Don’t hope that events will turn out the way you want, welcome events in whichever way they happen: this is the path to peace.”
— Epictetus
“The first law of thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created out of nothing; transforming an environment or achieving a desired state requires the deliberate application of mechanical or cognitive work.”
— Rudolf Clausius (Physicist)
I constantly reflect on this historical truth:
“Good times create weak people, weak people create hard times, hard times create strong people, and strong people create good times.”
We are currently living in the era where good times have created weak people. Lately, men and women seem to want to resolve everything with their smartphones, artificial intelligence, tarot cards, fleeting thoughts, and meditation, while very few are willing to put their hands to work, grab the tools, and actually build. Many falsely believe that engaging in hard work—such as construction, masonry, plumbing, cooking, cleaning, or carpentry, whatever makes your hands and clothes dirty—will somehow reduce their status. This delusion has created a demographic of pretentious humans who are not only impoverished, but who act and pretend to be royalty, refusing to work simply because they project an illusion of something they are not. That illusion never lasts long. To overcome the challenges of our generation, we must all keep in mind that the greatest generals and leaders in history were first good soldiers and tireless workers who did not only lead on the battlefield and in the building of infrastructure, but who fought shoulder-to-shoulder next to their people.
“In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.”
— Proverbs 14:23
“Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body.”
— Seneca
“Grit—the combination of passion and relentless perseverance for long-term goals—is the psychological mechanism that enables individuals to endure hard labor and overcome systemic adversity.”
— Dr. Angela Duckworth (Psychologist)
Let us be even more pragmatic and accept that there is a cancer in humans: the belief that wearing expensive clothes and designer accessories automatically makes someone elite or royalty. Some humans, blessed with physical beauty by God, unfortunately use their good and healthy looks to profit from the weak, the lonely, and the ignorant—using beauty as the only tool they have to take advantage of others. There was a time when saying “I am a doctor” was deeply impressive, as it should be, since that profession requires immense time, discipline, and focus to achieve, and its ultimate purpose is to save lives. But the world has become so twisted that now even professionals use their knowledge and academic diplomas to exploit the ignorant. There was also a time when saying “I am a mechanic” commanded profound respect for the honest labor it entails. Today, society blindly follows and respects “OnlyFans” public figures, individuals praised merely for their sexuality or for having money, or simply those who project a pretentious, luxurious-looking social media profile that is completely fake. We must correct this by refusing to give our respect to vanity, and instead honoring genuine virtue, honest labor, and moral integrity.
“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
— Proverbs 31:30
“It is the edge and temper of the blade that make a good sword, not the richness of the scabbard.”
— Seneca
“Costly signaling theory explains how superficial displays of wealth and physical attractiveness are evolutionary adaptations used to manipulate social hierarchies, often masking a profound lack of underlying competence.”
— Dr. Amotz Zahavi (Evolutionary Biologist)
Society is receiving a devastating punch. We see women monetizing the showing of their bodies, and men lying and pretending to be prosperous. Even worse, there is a faction of humanity that believes they are achieving prosperity and wealth by committing fraud, by taking advantage of the poor, and in the most horrific scenarios, humans selling humans to those who will rape, kill, and destroy merely for self-gratification. These are dark life perspectives that we must never ignore; we must remain perpetually vigilant against them. Today, even the music people dance to is actively programming humans to idolize a life of luxury they cannot afford, alongside promiscuous behavior, drugs, and crime. This entertainment seems like fun, but it is subliminally instructing audiences that women should be abused, and that young people should become alcoholic and promiscuous. We see video games glorifying killing and sexual degeneration. Therefore, let us not be surprised by the tragic amount of orphans, single mothers, and women suffering violence in our world. When dealing with these profound challenges, the only way to correct the course is to fiercely guard our minds, reject this cultural poison, and guide our families back to the safety of absolute truth and moral discipline.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
— Romans 12:2
“If you consort with someone covered in dirt, you can hardly avoid getting a little grimy yourself.”
— Epictetus
“Social cognitive theory demonstrates that continuous exposure to modeled behavior in media directly programs the human brain’s neural pathways, actively shaping moral development and promoting the imitation of destructive behavior.”
— Dr. Albert Bandura (Psychologist)
I would like to state that if you truly want to have a prosperous, peaceful life, where love exists alongside true friends and a faithful family, we must focus exclusively on what is true, good, and beautiful as the only things worth following. Because we are intentionally made by God, trust me when I say that we, as His creation, have a definitive life manual and guide “The Bible”. Those men and women who open their minds to divine knowledge, combined with the rigorous laws of science, will receive true consciousness. Therefore, they will become wise, disciplined, and responsible. By actively adopting this behavior and taking ownership of our reality, we will absolutely not allow the dying of the light.
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
— Philippians 4:8
“The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.”
— Marcus Aurelius
“Neuroimaging demonstrates that spiritual practices and disciplined, purpose-driven focus physically strengthen the brain’s frontal lobes, enhancing emotional regulation and the capacity for logical, responsible decision-making.”
— Dr. Andrew Newberg (Neuroscientist)
