Our moral Responsibility
Our moral Responsibility
If God could talk to us, he would try to say… Inject knowledge into your brain and consciousness into your heart. You can talk to me in your prayers, but you will solve problems with knowledge and discipline.
“First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do.” — Epictetus, Discourses
“Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding.” — Proverbs 2:2 (NLT)
There is no prayer that can cure an illness or cover a need in a vacuum; but there is science, work, and action that can do it for those who seek knowledge and solutions.
“Get busy with life’s purpose, toss aside empty hopes, get active in your own rescue—if you care for yourself at all—and do it while you can.” — Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
“Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.” — Proverbs 13:4 (NLT)
Do not reduce God to a book, a church, or the words of a simple human talking about something nobody fully understands or has proof of. Do not reduce God to a description created by humans. In reality, nobody knows the true form of His existence. If you wonder about our situation, I can only tell you that our mind is our limit, and the negligence to acquire knowledge and good disciplines will always be our destruction.
“The universe is change; our life is what our thoughts make it.” — Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
“My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests.” — Hosea 4:6 (NLT)
I believe in God, and I am a Christian, but I am not a religious fanatic. I can understand why the book says, “Do not use the name of God in vain.” We were made and meant to be intelligent and creative beings. If your life is good or a total disaster, it is 100% your responsibility. Stop hoping and start learning; act with a conscious and cultivated mind, because all the things you want and wish for in your life depend on your personal determination to make them happen.
“Waste no more time arguing about what a good man should be. Be one.” — Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
“So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.” — James 2:17 (NLT)
